Gone fishin'
Since I've got a baby now, I've been sentenced to the sand dunes. haha. Dad, Danny and the rest of the older crew, plus Kenny went fishing at Mercer lake. Mom and I took this crew down to our dock to see if we could catch anything. I had to bait and get the hooks ready for the kids. I did Hailey's last and on her way walking over to her spot, she tried not to step on the plastic bag, but ended up kicking all our bait right into the lake. haha. Everyone was pretty upset, especially since they had all lost their first cast in the reeds. Hailey just kept saying, "I'm soooorry!" We had to leave to get lunch made for the other guys and Tyler cried the whole walk back. After we delivered lunch, Dad and Danny took us out on a ride around the lake in the boats. When we got back to the house, we picked blackberries until dinner time where I cooked all the fish the boys caught/bought. (They stopped at a market and got some crab and salmon.) It was so yummy!
