Back in November on Black Friday I got a ton of material with the intention of making baby a quilt for his crib. Today I buckled down and decided to take on the task. This is my first time quilting and I, of course, decide to be super ambitious and make up the pattern myself. So far so good! The back is cut out and the base for the top is complete. Now to cut out and sew on all the applique pieces for the Mt hood, valley, hot air balloon scene I have in mind.

I drove down to Orem to catch up and have lunch with Clara! It was so fun to see her and talk about everything! I miss seeing her everyday practically.

Maternity pictures! I hired my good friend Emily (we went to school together) to take our maternity pictures. I wanted somewhere with pines and snow so we decided that Tibble Fork would be perfect! Especially given how much like Oregon it reminds me of and that is where we filmed our baby announcement. We decided a morning shoot would be best, poor Danny! We had to be up the canyon by 8:30. We were up early that day! I even hired a makeup artist to come over to the house before we left. It was so fun and the pictures are going to look so good!

Tomorrow is our Maternity photoshoot! I spent the day getting outfits prepped and running errands. I was also able to finish making this crown that I'm going to wear. I can't wait for the shoot with Emily, it's going to turn out so good!

Another thing off the checklist! I've been researching and eyeing this stroller for months now, just waiting for a good deal. Finally there was a manufacturer's sale on the Baby Jogger City Select for 20% off - taking it down $100 dollars. Adding in the $100 dollars I had in gift cards from our bank rewards and baby showers, I was able to get this $500 dollar stroller for only $300! Best part is, this stroller can grow with our family and can accommodate up to three kids at a time!

With all the craziness of the the anniversary party(s) done I was finally able to finish up Julie and Mak's Sweethearts dance group pictures. 12 CD's later. done.

Tonight was the surprise 50th Anniversary party all us kids have been planning for Mom and Dad since the day after Ti's wedding! There was quite the turn out and Mom and Dad had no clue! We had a nice family dinner before the open house portion. Everyone in Utah was able to make it. We love you guys! Happy 50th!

Baby shower round 2! My amazing sisters in law threw Kristina and I a joint baby shower and had all the cousins from the Robbins' side come party with us. I am so spoiled and blessed to be apart of this awesome family! I love them so much! I just wish Amy and Annie could've been there! Other than that, it was perfect! There was even a chocolate fondue bar! (They know me so well haha)

Happy 50th anniversary Mom and Dad! Danny and I met up with them at Red Lobster to celebrate over yummy sea food! When we were on our way out, Dad wanted a picture by the lobsters. The dude up front asked if they wanted to hold the biggest one, Danny and I both said, "yes they do!" So fun!

My mom and sisters (mostly my mom) threw me the cutest baby shower tonight! It was so fun to have friends and family from all over come and eat crepes and giggle over tiny baby clothes. We are sure excited for this little one to get here!

Happy Valentines Day! Danny had to work today, but while we were eating breakfast this morning the Fed Ex guy pulled up to our house and delivered me a huge bouquet of flowers! I was so confused as first, since it was Sunday, but then sleepy Whitney slowly registered what day it was. Danny is so cute! He said it was supposed to come while he was at work. I love them! After I picked him up we had dinner at my parents house. Trying to get a picture of the two of us without any sibs is impossible.

I found this pentagon shaped thing at the DI and spray painted it gold. I found this succulent at Ikea yesterday and it fit in it perfectly! Love it!

Ikea lunch date and shopping trip with Mom and Tyler! I bought some shelves and other stuff for the nursery and installed them all while Danny was at work. I love how they turned out and can't wait to decorate them with baby's stuff!

My cute little camper! Danny got called into ym's and had his first Klondike with them today. It was going to be freezing up there so we had to raid my parent's camping gear. Indy wasn't sure what was going on, but she was happy to keep me company all night and sleep in bed with me.

We celebrated Bapa's birthday tonight since it was the last night we were all going to be in town. (Rob and Cindy and the girls fly out in the morning.) I ghetto rigged my scanner and scanned in an old negative of Bapa as a senior in high school next to his car. Then I edited it and cleaned up the dust specks in photoshop and sent it off to the lab to have it printed. I had it printed as a 12x12 and styrene mounted. I also framed it myself. It was priceless to see Bapa's reaction as he looked at it and pointed to his car.

I finished baby's mobile today! I made up the design and pattern all by myself. This mobile was the inspiration for the whole theme of the nursery - regardless of if we were having a boy or girl. I am so happy with how it turned out! It was even worth slicing my finger open while trying to cut the corks for the baskets! ha.

Ice Castles! All the aunts, uncles and cousins trucked up to Heber to explore the Ice Castles with Ana and Elsa! The little guys were so excited to meet the princesses and slide down the ice slides. They even had slot canyons and a hot coco shack inside. I didn't do the slides, but the slot canyons were fun! Especially with all the lights everywhere!

Hunny and Bapa's 50th anniversary party! We had such a nice party and dinner with all of Hunny and Bapa's friends and family that could make it. We were treated to a slideshow full of images everyone dug up of Hunny and Bapa. I also took all the images I scanned in and made it into an album for them. Bapa loved it! Hunny said that at the hotel room he would just flip through the pages over and over again. Happy anniversary! We love you!

These cute cousins had the hardest time making a snowman. Partly due to the fact that Savannah kept tripping over it while she figured out how to walk in the snow. The main reason it was so hard was due to Indy plowing through it and eating the snowballs the second they left the kids hands. It was so funny to watch them all play. It ended in a snowball fight against Indy!

Nesting is in full force. I finished making my growth chart for the nursery. Indy helped. She did so good during the whole painting process until the very end when she nudged a corner and got paint on her forehead. Stinker pup.

We all drove up to Debby's house to celebrate Hunny and Bapa's 50th with an ice cream bar. When we walked in, Hunny had a bright orange scalp and roots. Even Bapa was laughing at it. It looked bad. Beth, Deb and my mom took her into the bathroom to fix her "DIY" dye job until they could get her in to a pro. I wasn't fast enough with the camera to catch any of the color, but this is after everything has been washed out.

I spent literally hours scanning in literally hundreds of photos of Hunny and Bapa for their 50 year anniversary. It was so cool to see all these pictures of them from over the years.

Danny and I got to babysit for Zach and Jen while they went out to dinner. Madison was just the cutest, best baby ever! We played for awhile and then she fell asleep all snuggled up with me. I can't wait for my little one to get here so I can do this with him!

After our OB appointment Danny and I hit up a few DI's. I found a giant stack of Disney on vinyl for 50 cents each. They all play perfectly. I'm so excited to have these for our kids to listen to!

Danny, Karl and I spent the evening filming a cover for Adel's "Hello" in mom and dad's backyard, and parks around SLC. I am so excited to get working on this! It's already proving to be hilarious. Although Karl makes a very interesting looking female.
