| January 1st, 2017 Happy New Year! Another year, another mirror date photo to start off the 6th year in a row of picture of the day. What started out as a new years resolution in 2011 quickly became a wonderful journal of my life. I started this whole photo journey the year that I moved out and attended my first semester of college. With such a big change happening in my life, I thought this would be the perfect way to document my life. This has become more than just a photo series, it is my family history. I do this for me and my children, so we can look back and remember and see what life was like. This is our story, and I'm so grateful for all who are apart of it. |
Since January 1st, 2011 I have been taking at least one photograph a day. I love seeing my life play out in my photos - whether it was of what I did today, or of something conceptual and artistic. I believe it is so important to keep on shooting, not only to improve on my talents, but to document my life.
