| February 3rd, 2016 We celebrated Bapa's birthday tonight since it was the last night we were all going to be in town. (Rob and Cindy and the girls fly out in the morning.) I ghetto rigged my scanner and scanned in an old negative of Bapa as a senior in high school next to his car. Then I edited it and cleaned up the dust specks in photoshop and sent it off to the lab to have it printed. I had it printed as a 12x12 and styrene mounted. I also framed it myself. It was priceless to see Bapa's reaction as he looked at it and pointed to his car. |
Since January 1st, 2011 I have been taking at least one photograph a day. I love seeing my life play out in my photos - whether it was of what I did today, or of something conceptual and artistic. I believe it is so important to keep on shooting, not only to improve on my talents, but to document my life.
