Since January 1st, 2011 I have been taking at least one photograph a day. I love seeing my life play out in my photos - whether it was of what I did today, or of something conceptual and artistic. I believe it is so important to keep on shooting, not only to improve on my talents, but to document my life.

On our way home from St George, we got a call from our Boarders that Scout was lost! We were about Payson when we heard the news. He had taken the dog pack to Tanner Park to play. Scout hung out by him most of the time - not surprising since she is a big baby and prefers to play with people. Tyler, our boarder, said that he was gathering the dogs back together to get ready to go when Scout started playing with one of his dogs and a random little dog. Since she was actually playing and enjoying herself, he decided to give them a few more minutes before packing up and heading out for lunch. Scout and the two dogs all ran into a grove of trees. Tyler whistled for them to come back when he couldn't see them. The tiny dog came out one side, his dog came out the other and Scout didn't come back. He spent hours looking for her. Had his girlfriend come help and take the other dogs back home and then come back to look. We booked it straight up to Salt Lake to meet him there. Danny, Jones and I walked around for a few hours calling her. Mom and Dad Robbins came out to bring us water and take Jones back to their house. Danny and I kept circling and looking for her. Eventually it got dark and we left, defeated. The whole time I was looking I was holding back tears and thinking, "I can't loose another baby." We ran back over to Tyler's house to grab Indy - who was very confused as to where Scout was. We took her home, fed her and snuggled her tight as we planned our day for tomorrow to find Scout!
