Such a special day! After taking the discussions soon after the Jordan River open house, Derek decided to be baptized! Danny and I were there with the sisters when they were teaching the lesson. Derek said he felt the spirit at Banks' funeral and asked what he needed to do to keep feeling that. One of the sisters said the next step was baptism. Danny and I both thought she blew it and had jumped the gun. After a thoughtful moment, Derek said he would be baptized. Today was that special day. We got to go and be with Derek and Ellen and meet members of their family. It was such a wonderful day.
