| August 31st, 2014 Yay Ashley! Danny and I drove up to bountiful to hear Ash's farewell talk! She's going to be serving in Philadelphia! We partied it up at the Foster's house afterwards. I love getting together with family! |
Since January 1st, 2011 I have been taking at least one photograph a day. I love seeing my life play out in my photos - whether it was of what I did today, or of something conceptual and artistic. I believe it is so important to keep on shooting, not only to improve on my talents, but to document my life.

| August 30th, 2014 Danny and I got up super early to go cheer on the girls in their first XCountry meet! [It was Mak's first meet ever!] They were at American Fork High School so it was easy to get to. We were able to see Mak start and finish her race. She's on JV since she's a frosh, but she was the first one of Alta's girls to finish, plus she was sick too! Go Mak! Julie is on varsity and wasn't going to be racing until like 1 o'clock [Mak's was at 8 am] and we were due in Spanish Fork by ten. We wished them luck with the rest of their races and drove down to Bill and Min's house to help move some stuff to a storage shed. Well, the boys did anyways, I hung out with the kiddos and Mindy and we were spoiled with a yummy lunch of meatballs, rice, fresh corn on the cob and jalapeno bread from the farmers market that Mindy and I went to in the morning. We ended our day with a run at my parents house and fresh peach smoothies! Yum! |

| August 29th, 2014 BYU vs UCONN game! We totally creamed them! The boys were pretty excited. Danny and I even snagged Kenny and he watched the whole game! |

| August 28th, 2014 So basically I'm registered again. My advisor was totally useless and thanked me for doing all the "leg work." boo. But I ended up finding out that regardless of if I paid for my tuition, it never went through, so I had to pay a fine and then I was able to register for half of the classes I originally wanted and the other half I was wait-listed for. awesome. I was able to get into senior seminar and get my art history minor approved. Little by little. I'm too stubborn not to graduate next semester! |

| August 27th, 2014 Third day of school! things are sort of starting to look up, I was able to get some answers - we'll see how tomorrow goes. But tonight was Mikayla's last night with us [she had been staying with us for about 2 weeks in-between semesters] She works three jobs so we hardly ever saw her! We were able to snag some dinner at Cafe Rio! Lots of fun! |
