Happy Love Day! We spent our day passing out Valentines to all of Jones' friends. Then we drove down to Bill and Mindi's to have dinner with them and the kids. Mindi made an awesome dinner with steak, asparagus, potatoes and salad. Coz and Jones were very excited to see and be each other's valentines! I love these two cuties!

My cute little helper today! We spent all day getting ready for Valentines tomorrow. Jones is really good at helping me eat chocolate covered starwberries after I've dipped them. Stinker! I also made a huge lasagna dinner. One for us and one for our next door neighbors. I felt like I was in the kitchen all day! Between making the lasagna and rolls and sides, it was a lot of work. I was so excited to eat dinner and then go to enrichment. But somehow in the 10 minutes I was gone to drop off food next door my dumb dogs had blasted through the pan barricade and had licked our lasagna clean out of the pan. I was so mad! Especially because I had been really craving my lasagna all day! They had too, apparently. Danny was surprised to see we still had both dogs when he got home from work.

This kid was such a trooper today! We had a to-do list about a mile long and we got it all done! That included a trip to the DI followed by grocery shopping! He was all smiles (and snot) the whole time! Which was pretty shocking, given that underneath his hair is a big 'ol goose egg! He toppled head over heals all the way down the staircase this morning! It was traumatizing for everyone (dogs included.) I'm amazed that we managed to get through all of the crawling/walking/climbing the stairs phase without a fall. Mr. Tough Guy thought he could walk up the stairs holding the handrail and lost his balance at the top. He made sure to milk it. If you look closely, you can see sucker stuck to his shirt, cookie crumbs on his face and chocolate smears on his chin.

Jones is pretty stingy with his non-doggy kisses. Aka real kisses. (He usually just leans his head into you like a dog would and calls that a kiss.) But somehow Uncle Thomas was the lucky one today! Jones kept giving Tommy kisses all night.

Today was crazy! It felt like we were hopping from one thing to the next. I had my camera out and my settings were all off from last night. Before I could fix them or do anything, Jones came up and tried to pull my camera from my hands. In the process I hit the shutter and we were left with this masterpiece. And this was the only picture I took that day. At least it looks cool!

Tonight I got to shoot a surprise proposal for one of our friends' son! It was so cute! I called the restaurant to help plan out where they'll sit and where I could be. They were so cool and helpful! I was pretending that I was waiting for my date to get there and had my camera hidden under the table cloth on my lap. I must've been pretty convincing, because after he popped the question and I was done snapping away, the bride to be told me she thought I had been stood up and was feeling so bad for me! haha! Such a fun night! But going back to my car I got in pretty quick (because it was dark and sketchy in the parking lot) and I ripped my back pocket off of my jeans. So that was cool. They had gotten snagged on a lever on my seat. Ha.

We were all out in the backyard playing with the dogs when I looked at Scout and saw that she wasn't the little puppy we brought home anymore! I still call her the "little" dog - even though she and Indy are the same height! I'm so happy that I finally got my snuggly dog who will come and sit on me for no reason. She's our aerodynamic, trouble-pup!

Danny and I tried to make up for how bad yesterday went by taking everyone to the dog park! The Draper park (our usual one) was closed for cleaning so we had to go to the Sandy dog park instead. This would have been fine had the entire park not consisted of pebbles, bark dust and dirt. Jones was so mad at me the whole time we were there. He kept trying to eat the dirt! Potted plant dirt is one thing, but nasty dog park dirt is on a whole other level. At one point Danny was carrying him and everytime he saw me look at him he'd glare and yell. So that was fun. Eventually he calmed down enough and had fun running around with the dogs. That night Danny and I had Brecken come over and watch the crew so we could go on much needed date night. We saw Justice League at the dollar theater. It was so good! The best part was when we got home, Jones came running towards us and gave us big hugs. Hopefully that ended the bad day streak we were starting to get!

Super Bowl Sunday! Danny, Jones and I headed down to Spanish Fork to watch the game at Mindi's mom's house with lots of their family. We even got to watch with Matthew! My favorite part of the game was watching these two cute cousins play and have the best time together! They would put their faces up against the fan, scream and run away! Then they'd come back and do it all over again! I'm pretty sure last year's super bowl picture was of Jones and Cozy too!

Today was another fun filled photography day! I got to work with Smith's to take pictures for their emergency preparedness segment. I recruited the wonderful Natalie to be one of our models and i got to photograph her and a few other models assembling the 72 - hour kits!

My morning was spent with the Jackson family, taking pictures for Jamal's new business; LJ Inspires! It was something totally different than my "norm" and I loved the change of pace!

In an effort to be a "fun mom" and not the "morning-sick-mom" I've been with Jones these last few weeks we went to the park for lunch! I grabbed us some Wendy's (complete with frosty) and Jones and I had a grand old time walking all the way up the stairs to the slide, not going down the slide, and then walking back down. On repeat. When I convinced him that there was other things to do at the park we finally got down and ran around the tennis courts. Jones also loved putting the bark dust on top of ever surface. No surprise there. Haha! After an hour or so at the park we went home and (both of us) had a much needed nap! Hopefully I can muster more of these kinds of days as I start to feel better and have more energy.

All I can say is, it's about time! Austin and Jenna came over to bring everyone ICE CREAM! Woo!! Go Austin! Not only was the ice cream really good, but Jenna is so cute! He may have taken like 8 years to get his second, first kiss, but I'd say Jenna was worth the wait.

Jones was trying to drag his work bench out of his room but was getting frustrated. He came and had me move it for him. He wanted it in our room so he could work on his tools while watching TV at the same time. I don't know if I should be proud or concerned. Haha!

My mom watched Jones while I went to an appointment today. When I got back I tried to show him the picture of his NEW BABY SIBLING, but he was more interested in watching Trolls. Poor kid, has no idea what's in store.

Impromptu double date night with Joel and Crys and our chocolatey third wheel. We went out for Thai food and then hit up Last Course for dessert. Jones was definitely a fan of the dessert.

Jones and I drove up to Brigham City to help Manny and Josh paint their NEW HOUSE! They bought a townhouse a couple of blocks away from Janel and Leon. These three had the best time playing with each other and running around all the empty rooms!

Not the best picture, but when you're having so much fun you forget to take one sometimes! Danny and I had a much needed date night! We ditched the bub at my mom's house and went out for Good Wood and a movie. We ended up seeing, "The Greatest Showman." Such a good movie! We loved it!

The other day when we were out running errands before Tyler's birthday we stopped at Ikea to get a few things. They had a big bin of these dogs on closeout for only $6. Jones immediately grabbed one and started hugging and kissing it, and well... when you're an only child you walk out of Ikea with a new stuffed animal. He has been sleeping and playing with it daily since then. He is just the cutest!

We finally got our snow day!! After breakfast I pulled out all our snow stuff and got us both dressed. Jones loooooves the snow. We played outside for a good two hours. We made a snowman and threw snowballs. But Jones' favorite part was eating all the snow! We probably got over 2 feet by the time it was done snowing. I had to start undressing Jones outside so that I could get him in to eat lunch and have a nap. The dogs loved it too and had so much fun catching snowballs!

Happy Birthday Tyler! Seven years old! He loved our present and wouldn't let anyone "touch his wood." We, being the mature people that we are, couldn't stop giggling every time he said it. Tyler says he's going to build a tree house, so that'll be fun!

Jones and I ran tons of errands today. We finished off the list with a trip to Home Depot. It is Tyler's birthday tomorrow and he wanted "building stuff." So I went to the discount wood section and got 4 eight footers and had them cut into thirds. We also got him screws, screw drivers, and a measuring tape. He's going to love it!

I am so proud of this little cheeser. We had a family date night tonight and went to see Jumanji. Jones was a champ! He stayed awake the whole time and watched every second of it sitting in my lap! He even applauded after every action scene. Haha! The only downside was he had so much to drink during the movie that he peed out! Luckily he was sitting on my coat on my lap, but he was soaked! Aside from that, it was the perfect movie going experience.

This is probably one of my most favorite pictures I've ever taken. Let me preface this by saying that my son likes to eat dirt. If left unattended for too long he will sneak around the house to my various houseplants and shove handfuls of it into his mouth. I was folding laundry tonight with Jones' help and noticed he was gone, assuming he was having a little after dinner snack, I grabbed my camera and snuck down the stairs. I found him in the kitchen corner with his grubby hands full alongside and his partners in crime. His back was to me and after I had my camera poised, I asked, "What are you doing?" Jones was so startled from my sneak attack that he dropped the dirt, turned around, and presented me with this face. Indy was seemingly started from my attack, but more so at Jones' reaction. Their faces kill me! I can't help but wonder what is going through Indy's mind! hahaha
