| December 31st, 2016 Happy New Year! We welcomed in the new year with Tyler puking up all the chocolate milk he drank less than 10 minutes before midnight. I grabbed Jonesy and went into the other room with the kids while mom tried frantically to clean Tyler and the floor up! (Uncle Ron was in the bathroom when Tyler tried to make it in) What a nice send off! But in all seriousness, this year has been one of the best. Mainly with the addition to our sweet little boy! We've traveled to Oregon and took Jonesy to meet family and visit the beach, my two best friends and I were pregnant at the same time and have little ones just a week and a few months apart. We registered Danny's pottery and my art classes as businesses that I manage on top of my photography. We've slept less than ever and watched Indy and Jones become the best of friends. Danny and I have passed the four year mark of marriage and have overcome trials that have strengthened our union. We've been so blessed by our Heavenly Father in ways that I cannot even begin to list. Our friends and neighbors have been such a light in our lives - we just love them so much! While the rest of the world is complaining that 2016 was a terrible year, all I can say is that 2016 has been such a wonderful year in my little world. Happy New Year. |
Since January 1st, 2011 I have been taking at least one photograph a day. I love seeing my life play out in my photos - whether it was of what I did today, or of something conceptual and artistic. I believe it is so important to keep on shooting, not only to improve on my talents, but to document my life.

| December 30th, 2016 XX Chromosomes part V All my past "joys of having double X chromosomes" were more so, "I wish I had a few more of me, oh well, it'll just take me a bit longer." This years image is more of a wishful necessity! ha. Between Jonesy, editing, business stuff, taxes, lack of sleep, housework, etc... somedays I really need a few more of me! |

| December 29th, 2016 I spent all morning/afternoon editing and getting caught up on picture of the day when I got a text from Sarah inviting Jones and I to meet up for Zoo lights with Steph and the kids. It was the perfect break from the computer! I loaded up the car with Jones and tons of coats and blankets (it was freezing!) and headed up to SLC. We were late getting there because I took west bound instead of east bound on the 215 during rush hour. ugh. Once we were there, Jonesy loved it! He was smiling and looking around at all the lights! We were only there for an hour before we had seen everything and one by one all the kids started to have a melt down - except for the two babies; Jones and Sadie! ha. At one point in the night, Lily asked who I was and then a little bit later when Sarah was holding her, she asked Steph if this, "was her friend?" haha apparently we don't see Lily enough when we're all bundled up! |

| December 28th, 2016 The Crawfords hired me to take their family pictures. The evening light was perfect and we finished it off with some fun snow shots! |

| December 26th, 2016 I got Jones all bundled up and took him outside for his first real time playing in the snow. All he wanted to do was lay down. I'd set him up and get ready to take the picture just in time for him to lay back again. haha. little stinker! |

| December 25th, 2016 Merry Christmas from our family to yours! We opened stockings, had a nice service at church and came back to open presents. When we were done with presents we got to talk to Robert. Lunch was at Danny's folks with the rest of the Robbins kids. We then came back to my parents to talk to Julie and Robert at the same time and to have Christmas dinner. We had such a wonderful Christmas and are so blessed! |
